Why Dental Implants?
The Gold Standard in Modern Dentistry
Eat Anything with 100% Bite Force
Restores full bite force so you can chew apples, nuts, and rotis effortlessly.
Prevents Facial Collapse & Aging
Stimulates your natural jawbone, preventing the sunken facial look caused by missing teeth.
Specialist Prosthodontist Precision
Dr. Varishu holds a Master's degree in Prosthodontics, specializing in exact prosthetic fit.
The 3 Components of a Dental Implant
A complete dental implant restoration is engineered from three biocompatible, precision components.
1. Titanium Implant Fixture
The Artificial Root
A surgical-grade, bio-inert titanium screw placed into the jawbone. It mimics your natural tooth root, preventing bone resorption and creating a lifelong permanent foundation.
2. Precision Custom Abutment
The Connector Collar
The titanium or zirconia connector that attaches to the implant fixture and emerges through the gumline, perfectly custom-angled to hold your crown securely.
3. CAD/CAM Zirconia Crown
The Aesthetic Tooth
A handcrafted, monolithic or multi-layered Zirconia crown shaped to match your neighboring teeth in color, optical translucency, and bite alignment.
Implant Treatment Options at MINT
Single Tooth Replacement
One missing tooth (front or molar)
Replaces the single missing tooth from root to crown without touching adjacent healthy teeth. Restores instant eating and smiling confidence.
Multiple Teeth Implant Bridge
3 to 4 consecutive missing teeth
Instead of placing an individual implant for every missing tooth, 2 strategically placed implants support a strong 3- or 4-unit ceramic bridge.
All-on-4 / All-on-6 Full Arch
Complete tooth loss or failing teeth
Permanent fixed full-arch teeth locked securely onto 4 or 6 specialized implants. Eliminates loose dentures forever in as little as 3 days.
Dental Implant vs Bridge vs Removable Denture
Compare your tooth replacement choices based on biological preservation, longevity, and everyday lifestyle comfort.
| Clinical Factor | Dental Implant 🏆 | Traditional Bridge | Removable Denture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expected Lifespan | 25+ Years to Lifetime (98% Success) | 7–12 Years (Requires Replacement) | 5–7 Years (Loosens Over Time) |
| Preserves Natural Jawbone | Yes (Stimulates Bone Density) | No (Bone Resorbs Under Pontic) | No (Causes Progressive Ridge Shrinkage) |
| Damage to Adjacent Teeth | 0% (Zero Grinding of Adjacent Enamel) | High (Grinds 2 Healthy Teeth for Support) | Mild to Moderate (Clasps Stress Teeth) |
| Chewing Force & Stability | 100% Full Natural Bite Force | 70–80% Chewing Capability | 30–40% (Restricted Hard Foods) |
| Cleaning & Flossing | Simple (Floss Normally Like Natural Teeth) | Requires Threaders Under Bridge | Must Remove Daily & Soak Overnight |
The Dental Implant Journey at MINT
From initial 3D digital diagnosis to final crown attachment, our protocol is designed for comfort and predictability.
3D Digital CBCT Diagnostics
High-resolution digital 3D scans and bone density mapping to plan exact angle, nerve distance, and implant depth with sub-millimeter precision.
Painless Micro-Placement
Gentle surgical placement of the titanium implant under targeted local anesthesia. The procedure takes only 20–30 minutes per implant with zero pain.
Osseointegration (Bone Fusion)
Over 8 to 12 weeks, your natural bone cells grow into the microscopic pores of the titanium fixture, creating an unbreakable biological lock.
Custom Zirconia Crown Fitting
Attaching your custom CAD/CAM Zirconia crown, fine-tuning your bite balance, and issuing your official manufacturer warranty card.
Post-Surgery Care: Dos and Don'ts
Follow these simple clinical instructions to ensure rapid, painless, and infection-free healing.
- Bite gently on the sterile gauze pack for 45–60 minutes after placement.
- Apply an external cold pack to your cheek for 15-minute intervals during Day 1.
- Eat soft, cool foods (khichdi, curd, smoothies, dalia, ice cream) for the first 48 hours.
- Begin gentle warm salt water rinses starting 24 hours after the procedure.
- Take prescribed antibiotics and pain medications on schedule.
- Do NOT spit, rinse vigorously, or use a drinking straw for 24 hours (prevents dislodging the clot).
- Do NOT smoke or consume tobacco/alcohol for at least 72 hours as it delays bone healing.
- Do NOT touch or poke the implant site with your tongue, fingers, or toothpicks.
- Do NOT eat hot, spicy, or crunchy foods (chips, nuts) during the initial healing window.
- Do NOT engage in heavy aerobic exercise or weightlifting for the first 48 hours.
